This Irish made doc is getting a repeat at 8 tonight on RTE 2 - I'm a bit biased because I had something to do with it, but it's a great story about a great guy and it's well worth checking out.

I don't know if enjoy is the right word now, but it's very good TV. He has a remarkable tale to tell, and it's all the more stark the way he tells it.

I happened upon this accidentally just as it was starting and I'm so glad I did. Tomi came to talk to the history class when I was in secondary school and I never forgot him or his story. It was incredibly moving to see him return to Bergen-Belsen. I have so much admiration for him. He's dedicated his life to speaking about his experiences and keeping the Holocaust fresh in our minds even though it is obviously quite painful for him to relive the memories. I'm so glad he got such a great platform share his story.

Was a great documentary ruined by sloppy editing :pac:

Seriously though, is it gonna be on the player.

    Hey JonathanAnon,

Sorry Not sure if RTE will stick it up on the player since it was a repeat - although maybe that just makes them slower to put it up there. Pity it wasn't on a little bit later, as I think people settle down to watch things like it after the news or so. Hopefully they'll show it again some time if they don't stick it up, or alternatively there's a feature length version called 'Till the Tenth Generation' that gets show in festivals, the IFI etc. every now and then.

    Hey there,

Just to let you know, the DVD came out as part of an educational package for schools. It's actually the feature length version called 'Till the Tenth Generation', and there's more info on how to get it at the Holocaust Education Trust link below.
