Slow USB

    Hi,
    It takes 2 to 3 minutes from when I plug in my usb memory stick until I can access it on my computer. I went into device manager and uninstalled all the usb controllers and then reinstalled them when I booted up the computer again but this made no difference.

    Does anyone know how I can fix this problem??

    Did you try any other USB memory key? May be there's an issue with the key itself and not in the USB ports of the computer.

    I have few of them, couple of them are pretty quick and the older ones takes little more time but stil definatly not 2-3 minutes.

    Atleast trying with a different memory key will rule out that there's problem with the key itself.

    Ye i have tried a few different USB pens and they take ages to load aswell and have tried the pens in a different laptop and they are fine...

    anyone else ever have this problem?? looking on the internet and cant find anything about it.
