I ordered an item from a uk website, it was a special edition dvd with figurine, I realised that I already had the dvd, and couldn't justify the amount of money for the figurine so contacted the company to cancel. I got an email back to say my cancellation had gone through and I got the money refunded a couple of days later. Today I got a package that I wasn't expecting and it was the dvd!! Can they charge me for this if/when they realise their error. It was the 10th January when I made the order, canceled it soon after, payment was taken 11th and refunded the 14th.

No, but they can ask for it back. You should contact them to let them know you've received it. Whether you do or not is up to you.

I'll probably do that. Don't like this guilt thing:( Haven't opened the plastic wrap, so if they want it back, that's ok. Would they expect me to bear the cost of postage to return it? Its a biggish box so I'd imagine would cost a lot to post.

They should refund you the cost of returning it. If they don't offer, then ask or insist, if it comes to that.

Sometimes companies will only offer a voucher back to cover the cost of postage. I think cdwow do this.
