Twitter, Inc. 795 Folsom St. WBC to Picket Twitter, Inc.! Now that should get interesting, WBC member(s) Tweeting as they picket outside Twitter, Inc. Won't a black hole or something open in the space/time vortex? Seriously, let us focus in on a few facts, to wit: Twitter is a company which lends itself to mass communication. Why in heaven's name would the great publishers at WBC NOT picket this place? They have a duty to God just like every other person to serve God and to use ALL their resources in their service to him. So we come with hearts of love and joy to humbly suggest they GET ON THAT TASK! Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets. Matthew 22:34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together. 35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying, 36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law? 37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. 38 This is the first and great commandment. 39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. 40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Obama's about to take away any/all resources like Twitter to serve him and his Antichristic agenda, so enjoy this freedom while it lasts a little longer. Praise God! AMEN!

    Well.
Is there anything God doesn't hate?

There are something like two billion Christians in the world.

That was probably the largest brush ever used, excepting sentences beginning with "People....", "Women.....", "Men....".

These mongos thrive on controversy and being talked about. It's best just to ignore them and hope they freeze off when wintertime comes around.

Does all this publicity for what is a group of less then 100 religious cranks (90% of whom are members of the same extended family) headed by a mentally ill alleged child abuser not just play into their hands ?

There's no evidence to suggest he's a child abuser.

It was very harrowing to read the account of Phelps' son of the physical and mental abuse he suffered under the hand of Freddy boy. Nate Phelps is his name. But I suppose there is no real evidence against him as it wasn't reported at the time I don't think.

OK. But in the interest of libel laws etc. let's call him an "alleged child abuser"...saves the boys upstairs losing anymore hair. :)

I have to laugh at how a cult group of lawyers against teh ghey have so much legal protection after they've danced on the Irish flag and have a website condemning us all to hell

    Thats just... free speech?

    Religions are tricky.

Assuming the events you refer to actually took place under Irish juristiction (???) are they actually illegal ?

I know there is Incitment to hatred legislation but is flag desecration illegal in Ireland ?

More like incitement to hatred, which isn't legal

Mike, their website godhatesireland.com (down atm) is full of hate speech. The flag thing probably isn't illegal to be fair

They must be starved of publicity.

Twitter should just hire out the Patriot Guard. Make a donation to charity or some such.

Would referring to the Phelps cult as a bunch of female procreative organs be covered under incitement to religious hatred ?
their website..... is full of hate speech.

Website isint based in Ireland though. Does the Incitment to hatred legislation have extraterritorial provisions ?

In any case im not sure that visiting a country and declaring hatred against the entire population therein is really covered by Incitment to hatred legislation. Its more a matter for the Mental Health acts I would have thought ??????????

Yeah. There isn't sufficient evidence to prove, as it's his word against the alleged victims, many years later. The dastard got away with it all.

The Westboro Baptist Church are nothing more than a festering, hateful wound. They spew forth this venemous, vitriolic rubbish upon the world and seem to thrive upon spreading misery and disgust.

They cower and hide behind 'Free Speech' laws and rights.

They are nothing more than a pack of wannabe Nazis and hate-mongerers.

    /rant

They had a video on you tube a while back declaring that "God hates the world". Viewing this gives one the distinct impression that its a only a matter of time before the WBC compound takes delivery of a large consignment of Kool Aid

But maybe Im being too optimistic ?

wasn't the leader of the Westboro Baptist Church invited to Ireland by some college for a debate on it's views but the leader declined due to fear of being arrested under the Incitement to Hatred Act?

These American Christian bashing threads are becoming a daily occurance, getting a bit tiresome now. They're bible-bashing nuts, we get it.

IIRC he did come and was interviewed (prerecorded) by a Dublin radio station

Him and his members are now banned from the UK though

Essentially, yeah, that's what prompted them to make the godhatesireland site
