A friend is looking for one to buy as a present for someone. There are a few on Ebay but you can never tell what they're going to be like until they arrive in the post. Does anyone know of a bricks and mortar place where you can buy one?

The condition varies from tin to tin,a great deal of them have splits on the back corners from pressure from opening the the lid back to far and many have variuos dents, just something to look out for,one other thing is these tins originally had a gilt wash on them which in a very many cases is now long since gone and the tins have been polished, price range should be between 20 and 35 euro off the net and will be a considerable lot more if any of the original contents come with them.As for a bricks and mortar purchase I would stick to a fair where it can be seen before purchased (if there's any there),there's many fairs on around and a list can be found on the Militaria forum http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=2055174883&page=21
