Tempted to get my much loved N82 refurbished by fonefixers.
Has anyone had a phone done (there or elsewhere) ?

They use OEM parts and all but I'm wondering if the result will really be like having a new phone or whether there'll still be creaks etc ?

I've had a go before myself but the parts were non OEM so the results weren't stellar.

Is it just physically that you want the phone improved?

Yup, a new set of covers, d-pad and keys. It's in PMO - just could benefit from a facelift.

Might be a bit costly, and might not be worth pumping the money into it. Depends how much you like it i guess.
