    I'm pretty sure you can only have one box per cable coming from the satellite dish, if you want two different sky boxes or fta satellite receiver etc you will need to change a receiver component (this thing, - can be used for 4 rooms-

    )
    on the satellite dish as to suite the two cable set up.
    Does that make any sense?

    I think you already have a quad on the dish as you described a 4 way splitter thing on the end of the dish but when you say a labgear free to view box box do you mean its a freeview box or a fta satellite receiver? As its the latter you need or freesat box.

    Sorry I miss-read the OP, I assume the sky box still works? - if so, just try the skybox on the new second cable in the new room, if it works - the problem is with the labgear thing. Are you sure the labgear thing is for receiving free to air satellite signals?

    If the Sky box still works, then the issue is the Labgear receiver.

    If neither Sky nor Labgear works, it could be the alignment/rotation of the LNB - try rotating it while checking the signal.

    Make sure the labgear is a satellite receiver and not a terrestrial receiver that connects to a tv aerial. I have not come across a labgear free to air satellite receivers in my travels.

    Think they have a Labgear badged one as part of one of the cheap kits.
