    Hi..
Last year I found one of these on Evil-Bay..

    http://cgi.ebay.ie/2-4GHZ-1W-WIRELESS-AUDIO-VIDEO-TRANSMITTER-RECEIVER_W0QQitemZ390146030282QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_ConsumerElectronics_WirelessVideoTransmitters_CA?hash=item5ad683faca

It was a more powerful model, 3W I think, till transmit 1K line of sight.
I have it working using an old camcorder as the camera, great picture and sound.
    Transmitter/Receiver cost me about €40..

must go and check, have cow in ;)

checked out the link. these are definatey off brand cameras, i know coz i have the same ones at home. work good tho. i'd say there only advertising as "hawk" as it sounds good so might sell better. try the farmers journal under the cameras section in journal 3. there is normally a few lads advertising there. looking at the prices on the journal, it would be as cheap to buy in ireland as it would off ebay (€160 for 3 wireless cameras). you might have some hope of after sales service too. best of look with your choice anyways.

I got the wireless transmitter from them last year.It was delivered in a couple of days.I have a few good cameras i got from a bank strip out so rigged it up in my fathers shed for lambing the sheep. The picture quality was fantastic. He is delighted with it.Nearly time to turn it on again.

thanks lads for your opinon, f05bf1c21 you mentioned that you have the same camera's, do you mind advising we you got yours. i'd prefer to buy a camera seperately and buy transmitter & receiver seperately, just as a little project for myself! might save a few pound also. it would work out about 200 with equicom. i really tempted to just go on amazon and buy, is it difficult to set up? thanks again

mine is the same cameras but have a higher picture quality. i got 15 of them in from china direct from the suppliers as a sample order. sold them on to all to neighbours and just two left at home. if you ask me i think you would be mad to spend €200 on just one camera when 3 wireless cameras are advertised on the farmers journal for €160. surely thats better value. its a pitty they were not advertising at those prices when i set up d cameras in my place.

I got this setup from equicom http://www.equicom.ie/foaling-cameras---wireless-foaling-camera-system-9-p.asp
I just have one foaling box and this works 100%. Depends how much of a distance you have to go, my shed is only about 150mtrs from the house. I did have to put in a 40w bulb in the box though as the infra-red on the camera isnt able to pick up the whole area without some lighting assistence.
I bought a second receiver of them last year so I could have one set up all the time in the living room and the bedroom.
Good company to deal with and very fast delivery.

I bought the wireless single calving camera from equicom 2 years ago, pic great and easy to set up, decided to set up a second camera this year in another calving box, just rang the helpline and they talked me through everything i needed, it was delivered the next day and had all the details i needed to link both cameras together, very easy to deal with this company and very easy to set up cameras or add on in the future.
