    Hi,

Does anyone know the address or name of the Website of Irish professionals offering their skills on a trial basis before being hired. It was featured on some program on RTE in the last number of weeks, early Jan I believe.

The website had a logo of a fish jumping out of a bowl.

    Thanks

I think this sort of thing is doing nothing for the employment market as a whole. I know things are real bad but this **** of working for free is simply cheapening everyone's currency and degrading the job market in general. In fact I think it should be illegal.

This is putting organisations in a direct position to exploit the workforce, and with the workers permission no less. Sadly, it's at the detriment of those who are not in a position to go working for someone for free.

hmmmmm by any chance are you a business head willing to work for a small struggling company who does expect to pay the person they are seeking more than a saucer of milk under the door? I'm looking for someone who will help me write business proposals, business plans, help me with marketting and point me in the right direction. I'm looking for someone with a lot of experience and who isn't expecting a full time job. I'm not expecting them to work for free but my line of thought is if people are up on this website then just maybe they would be interested in a few weeks paid work as thats all I can offer.

If you know of the name of the website I referred to earlier then please PM it to me or if you know of any other resources where I can seek a business professional. I could hire a company to do this for me, I'm already looking into that, but there are some pretty experienced individuals out there too who could do this.

    Please no rant posts.
