Sourdough Starter in Shops?

    Anyone see sourdough starter sold in shops here? Am in Co. Kildare and haven't seen it offered anywhere.

    If you can't find any, you could always try making your own. Loads of guides on google.

    Never seen it in shops, but have made it successfully once or twice. Lot of effort, to be honest, and it didn't really taste spectacularly better than bread made from a poolish (preferment). But that could just be the local species of yeast in Dublin.
