    Hi all,

New user hear, just wondering if anybody could help me, have purchesed a new Toshiba Satellite L450D-113 labtop recently and the touch pad is not responding, its like the cursor is frozen in the same sopt on the screen, also there is no response when i click on the mouse buttons. I have tried to reactivate the touch pad through the function key and the F-9 KEY but still no joy, have also tried the control pannel but still no luck, any ideas please help.

Have you reinstalled the drivers for the touch pad? Also if you boot the system into Safe mode by pressing F8 after the Toshiba logo at startup, does the mouse work once in safe mode?
Generally 9/10 times its the FN+F9 button having disabled the touchpad so this is a bit strange.
