We're planning a naming ceremony in June and are looking for a celebrant.
Does anyone know if one exists in Wicklow?

    This explains it best...

(read from the 2nd 'Naming Ceremony' section).

We'd like to have a small celebration at home. About 15 people. If it's a nice day perhaps we'll travel to the beach for it. Having a celebrant to 'MC' it would be great!

there is an Irish version of Humanist Association - http://www.humanism.ie/website/index.php

They will direct you to who is available in Wicklow. It is certainly a nice way to do things - especially when people are asking about when the christening is?! You always need to give the aunts and uncles something to go to!

    Hi,

My friends used Michael McKeon for their naming ceremony and it was really nice. The site is http://www.myspecialday.ie/

    Worth a look for sure.
