UPC (NTL/Chorus) and DID Electrical deal - €250 off a new TV

    Over christmas I happened my eye over an ad for DID Electrical which essentially presented a discount of €250 off a television in DID Electrical when you signed up to UPC in-store.

    A bit of travelling yesterday left me stunned.

    In DID Swords I asked about this and the sales person didn't want to help, I'd a question about something that wasn't on sale. And then said there was something going on, but because of the weather he didn't have a clue.

    Then later that day, I happened to be in a DID store again (other half is appliance shopping) I asked about this and the manager in Lucan (exceptionally helpful) said that that the previous offer (which was a free 22" Samsung TV or a €250 DID voucher) would be restored this coming week.

    So I figured I'd flag this up with you folks.

    As someone who's planning a move soon (thus the appliance shopping) and thus the need to connect to tv and broadband (and get non-appliance things - which is my domain). I thought I'd flag/raise this up with you folks.

    Sorry if perhaps this has been posted already, I've looked back a few pages in this forum and can't find anything.
