    Hi Guys.
We are in the process of a Company change of name.
Does anybody know what the Banking implications are and what are the bank charges for this procedure.
Does this have any bearing on out free Banking which we currently have.
    Thanks all.

If its the 12 months free business banking you re talking about then it does'nt make any difference. There should be no charge on a name change on the account.

Not sure what the banks charge for this procedure, but if you have a limited company, you will need to present them with a change of name certificate along with a new version of the memorandum & articles of association from a paperwork point of view.

If you are doing the name change yourself and have any problems, let me know. Just make sure your annual returns & accounts are uptodate with CRO (again if you're a limited company) as they will not process a change of name if these are overdue for filing.
