Hi everyone. I'm new to the site, so I hope it's ok to post this here.

Just over 2 years ago I adopted a pair of Cairn Terrier crosses. Since then I've been on the look out for people to go walking with.

Unfortunately the younger of the dogs, Tegan, has some fear aggression with other dogs, undoubtedly caused by the traumatic first three years of her life (was very nervous of strangers, lound noises) and because of this she can appear very nasty at first, but she calms down within 5 minutes. It can be hard to socialise a dog like Tegan because people aren't willing to give her the chance. I know that they're worried for their own dogs, but the longer she's isolated from other dogs the worse she'll get.

Anyway, I'm hoping that there'll be someone on here who's around the south of Dublin city and who's up for going for a few walks with 1 very polite dog, and one dog who need a bit of time and understanding, but would very much like some friends to play with.

Reply here, or PM me; I'll be delighted to hear from ye either way.
