Hey all I popped the question at the weekend (she said yes!!) so we're looking to get hitched in july august, i know it might be a little last minute but we just want to go for it now if anyone has any experience of venues in cork/kerry would love to hear from them and as we're complete newbies any advice from old hands would be appreciated!!
    Thanks in advance :)

Any particular areas of Cork & Kerry? The Garryvoe Hotel, near Castlemartyr in East Cork is really, really nice.

Have so far narrowed it down to a few hotels castlerosse or dromhall in kerry and the eccles in glengarrifff or maritime in bantry we've a bit of work to do in the next few days. Anyone have experience of the two cork hotels?
Actually proposed at beach at garryvoe hotel looks nice but a bit far away for reception, stayed in castlemartyr which was fabulous complete lord of the manor stuff!

I've stayed in the Maritime and have friends getting married there this year: nice hotel, fabulous leisure centre and great parking! We were there when there was a wedding on aswell and were talking to people the day after and they had a great time ;) only downside on the hotel itself is breakfast kinda wasn't great but as I said the rest of the food was great.
