    Cheers. What of Resident Evil?

There are licensing issues with that game as I think Virgin Interactive were the publisher for Europe, and they don't exist anymore (and neither does the company that bought them out). If Capcom had published it we probably would have it by now. I wouldn't hold your breath.

To be honest I found it easier and cheaper to buy US PSN cards on eBay and create a PSN Store account with an American adress. Games work out cheaper, you've a much wider selection and get them much earlier.

FF8 is finally out on PSP. 1.8gigs though which is unfortunate because Iv only a 2gig memory stick and somehow the game wont fit on even when I have everything deleted. Why the hell didnt they split it up into 4 sections to be put onto the PSP one at a time like the PS1 version?

    Because that would be stupid.

How is it? The vast majority of people only have 2gig memory sticks anyway and each disc on the PS1 version was about 6 to 12 hours long. They should have given it as an option but hey, thats only my opinion.

Just buy a cheap 8gb stick on Amazon.

Downloaded it over the weekend, looking forward to finishing it for the seventh or so time. ;)

    What? 4 files?

    How on earth..?

I think the majority of PSP owners who download of the PSN have more than 2GB sticks anyway.

I now like this more than Final Fantasy VII, the graphics are suited to the small screen on the PSP,VII looks way too dated, does anyone have any cheats for the damned card game,I have lost so many times already.

There's no cheats for it you just have to stop sucking at it.

    Master of the Universe

Played through VII on mine about a year ago. It looked great on it. Don't think I'll be bothering with VIII again though. Didn't like it on release and can't imagine myself liking it now.

FFVIII has actually improved with age and from not being compared to FFVII, which everyone did on it's release. OK, so the story is probably the weakest of the post FFVII games but the battle system, card game, and gameplay is pretty damn solid.

FFIX is the one I'm waiting for though - still think it's the best in the series.

Its fine until disc 3 storywise for me.

I just hated drawing spells and how convoluted the card game rules got near the end.

Any ideas when this might come out? Might sway me towards getting a PSP. Probably going to be a while....

Dunno, I think there was three months between the release of FFVII and VIII on the PSN so hopefully it'd be a similar timeframe. Not sure though.

That would be excellent, I've played most of the other FFs but not IX. It was so hard to find when it came out. Have always heard its one of the best.

+ 1 on the card game rules.

So annoying when you get further into the game and all the regions rules combine, it makes it harder to track. It improves your playing after awhile though as you got to become more aware instead of throwing down ypur best card everytime.

Was there not a card queen or something that could reset the rules? I think she was in the secret card group and used to hang around a few cities here and there. Gilgamesh card was a delight, "eh, I'd like to exchange this for 10 Holy Wars please so I can batter Omega!"
