Musicians wanted for band in Maynooth/Dublin

    Hey, I'm a second year in NUI Maynooth looking to start a new band. Last time I was in a band was only the Summer but didn't work out for college reasons and moving away.

    I'm a guitarist primarily but can sing too and interested in percussion also.

    Needed: Another guitarist, drummer and bassist and anybody that reckons they could try vocals too.

    My influences are Sonic Youth, Biffy Clyro, Pixies, Pavement, Ataxia, Fugazi, At The Drive-In, Animal Collective, Glassjaw, Bob Dylan, Bright Eyes, The Field, Nirvana, Dinosaur Jr.... You get the picture. Noisy pop songs!

    Location: I'm in Maynooth during the week and Navan on weekends but can travel to Dublin during the week for jamming.

    Age: I'm twenty but age doesn't matter for bandmembers!


    I'm interested in experimenting with different effects and sounds more so than learning huge "epic" solos. Anybody that attends NUI Maynooth would be a huge plus to get involved, but it's completely cool whereever you're from. Have a huge want to get gigging again. Let me know!

    Hey,I'm 20 and also a student in Maynooth. I play guitar and piano, mainly rhythm guitar. My influences would be blues, rock and roll and some indie. However Im open minded to many types of music. Let me know if you are interested.

    hey have you guys sorted out a lead guitarist, i mainly listen to guns an roses/bon jovi/rhcp. even wider variety and very open to all types of music. iv bein playin bout 5 or six years, own equipment, thousand euro's worth of a guitar. Have lots of original material.
    only slight prob is i live in edenderry co.offaly and limited transport.. let me kno what you think, cheers..
