    hi there

i am trying to get online with my ps3 but after overcoming so many issues so far i'm stumped by this one.
when i test my connection i get an internet connection, connect to the PSN but NAT type fails and get the whole "The connection to the server has timed out (30130203)" error.

I'm currently at university so to get this far i have had to share my computer's internet connection, so i obviously dont have access to the router to change anythnig there.
is there any way round this problem? yes i know i should be studying...but all work and no play right? :D

    many thanks

Most likely, the university has some required ports blocked, and access may be only via a proxy (if at all).

Yeah if you are stayed in shared student accomodation from the college, chances are the internet access has certain ports blocked.
