Seems some people are having trouble getting back onto boards since the hack, maybe there should be a temporary sub-forum where people can request assistance, where they do not have to be registered to post, so we don't have a surge in duplicate accounts? Also, it would keep all those queries in one place, and be linked to…

Seems some people are having trouble getting back onto boards since the hack, maybe there should be a temporary sub-forum where people can request assistance, where they do not have to be registered to post, so we don't have a surge in duplicate accounts? Also, it would keep all those queries in one place, and be linked to the main page advice.

Hi there,

As it's the weekend, a little bit of patience might not go astray. The people looking after re-uniting people with their old accounts (the Community Managers) are off, so therefore your thread didn't get any attention.

With regards to your request - they've already outlined a procedure which is here, and have said on the main page information link that they'll clarify it further on Monday. Maybe they'll go with your idea, but I'd imagine that they may want to keep it in once place as much as possible. I'm sure they'll comment in due course when they are back at work if they feel the need
