Do any other joggers find it annoying when your running/jogging along and as soon as you pass out some (mostly) powerwalking girl they give a little jump with the fright that they just got....? Is there a signal that i dont know about that should be given by joggers when approaching walkers to warn them?

Shessh , that happens when I just walk past women because I am such a fast walker so ' Behind Ya ' might be a good call to make

Annoying. I get a good little laugh out of it. :pac:

They do make some funny shapes and noises at times.

    Have you tried running backwards?

O.P Wear a large roadrunner costume and flail your arms when running.
    That couldn't scare anyone.

I can't stand joggers stealth jogging up behind me while i'm out strolling along talking to myself. Scares the bejaysus out of me.

Then I have to pretend I'm on a bluetooth or something. Near fell into the canal one day near Portobello cause of these stealth joggers.

    Cough or sing or something.

Otherwise I'm gonna think your a big dog gonna eat me.

It's worse when you get stuck behind some fat bitch and she's taking up the whole path.

At the exact moment they give a little jump and scream, you give a louder one and then both stand there doing it like these used to do in lame comedies.

and thats another thing.....if there are 2 women powerwalking towards you they will expect YOU to get out of the way instead of one simply filing behind the other as you pass...women are SO selfish....

I once got a full on wallop to the face while overtaking a woman walking.

She yelped, hit me, I yelped, some minor yelling, but then we were all home in time for fizzy pop and cake.

Except one of us had a bruised face, and it wasn't her, I can tell you
