eurosport charging now?

    I have skysports, and went to look at something on eurosport the other day and it said i needed to upgrade the package to watch it etc etc

    since when have eurosport being charging?

    It has always been in the News & EVents Mix, AFAIK.

    I'd assume you don't have that mix on your subscription.

    nope dont have that, dont see the necessity when sky news is free, and bbc news

    agreed. a bit of a con to get you to increase your monthly subscription it would seem

    Still Free AFaIK on Astra 1 satellite but youd need a second dish and reciever for this

    Yeah, it's stil FTA on Astra 1, but in German (dunno if the analogue version still exists, as it was in English too). Don't think Eurosport 2 is FTA anywhere.

    For some, they might prefer to pay an extra 2eur for Eurosport instead of the bigger fee attached to Sky Sports.

    I don't know about others but I don't mind paying €2 per month to see Eurosport 1 and 2. With that we also get ESPN Classic and Motors TV. Much better value when compared to whatever it is Sky Sports costs. Not everyone who likes sports has Sky Sports you know.

    true , i like my premiership though so have my sports for that. in general eurosport only shows crap IMO
