    Hi Guys,

Is a HDMI port used on a combi box to connect to a HDMI port on a tv instead of a scart connection or do combi boxes even have a scart port?

    Regards

Any new HD box (including combos) will have HDMI. Almost all combos have both HDMI and scart (yet to see one built for Europe that doesnt).

And of course if your TV has one it is far better to use the HDMI port as it can pass the signal in lovely HD and Digital multi channel audio, Scart can only do Analogue SD resolution (not even as well as HDMI) and Analogue Stereo sound.
