    Just finished reading a book called "MARINE SNIPER" the true story of gunnery sergeant carlos hathcock aka the white feather ,couldnt put it down look him up on you tube

    That the guy that is believed to have shot a guy threw the telescopic sights? His enemys sight I mean. Read some stuff on him before alright, he has a gained a huge reputation.

    he also spent three days crawling through a field to kill a viet cong general, as he could only move as far the wind moved the grass at any one time. following the hit he remained prone in the field for another day or so while enemy patrols searched for him, sometimes coming within 4-5 feet of him.

    Yeh that guy had balls of steel. Never read the book but i heard the NVA and the VC had a big contract out on him while the war was going on but he still refused to take that feather out of his cap.
