    Hi guys,
just a quick question. Having heard many people extol the virtues of foam rollers, I'd like to invest in one.

I've noticed that the majority of web sites offer two sizes - a big one or a little one!

Anyway, just wondering which size is preferable and why?

    Thanks

I have the trigger point foam roller supplied by Irish Fit, it's about 13 - 14 inches long and I find it perfect, with the added benefit of a mini-core workout when I'm using it.

Thats mad as i am aswell trying to decide which one to get and from where and how much i should pay for it. I need it for my calf muscel at the moment. I have heard it works wounders and it might save me a few trips to the physio.
If you find out any more info please post it.
    Thanks

I got a big one but had to cut in half as it was a little too awkward to use.

my flatmate and I share the large one, when he moves out we're gonna just cut it in half as we dont really find we need the full length.

On a previous thread where I posted asking where to get one, someone recommended them. Do a search for the thread.

I think the price is the same but the size differs, that's the price for a small one. Both sites charge 29.99 for the larger one.

I've used physio supplies for a couple of my supplies orders now and never had any problems
    Good luck with the rehab

Arnotts do them now as well. Not sure on the price but think it was prob around 30 too.

They're good but sometimes its hard to beat a tennis ball (or 2 taped together)...

I have the smaller size roller, which cost me €16 from The Edge Sports Shop in Cork. I find the smaller one is perfectly adequate for all I want to do with it. So, ladies, size isn't really that important...

Any one use the Grid????(trigger point)

Just bought the grid myself. Was trying rolling on it and putting my weight on it with hamstrings and calfs but tbh im not feeling the pain/relief as many people have talked about before. Is there a good website that shows how to use it?
