    Hi

Whats the best quality cable to use for a small distance, about 2 foot from the back of a sky+ box and a sky HD box to a distribution point, SPC4 box?

I just find the cable i am using now keeps losing the ability to change the channels in the other room so i have to go in and mess around with cables, not much fun

    thanks

TX100 or any CAI approved spec will work well.

thanks Tony, will pick some of that up.

One last question, i have a DSU 2DC splitter in the attic, is there a 4 way splitter version of this? i need one that will provide the power to the magic eye and the others just need the signal.

    thanks

What you need to use instead is a sky compatible amp like the Global F140 or a triax amp if you need more than 4 outlets. The global is powered from the sky box the triax is mains powered.

    Hope this helps

Ok so what i have is 2 boxes that feed that SPC4 box that then feed a 4 distribution box. One of the outputs is then split in the attic using the 2 way splitter, the DC powered output goes to the magic eye and into the bedroom, the other non powered output is then connected to the PC.

I was wondering if there was any way i could have another output, non powered from the splitter and whats the best splitter to get. So i will have one eye off one output and just the signal off the other 2

You would lose too mucg signal gain by splitting. I'm open to correction but I think the output from an f140 amp will work ok with your pc card without using splitters at all.
