I have a Vittoria trainer tyre, brand new in box, never mounted, €19.

Bontrager Select rear wheel, €30. This came from a Trek 5000 road bike. There is a bit of play in the bearings but it is fine for a trainer. I had been using it there but now have a dedicated trainer bike. Comes with rim tape and skewer (original skewer not a trainer skewer, you should have that with your trainer.)

    No cassette.

Yes. It has been used with a 12-25 cassette though. And a triple on front.

Hi Blorg, that sounds fine, so all I'd need is the cassette I linked to in my first post and I'd be ready to go? Are all the sizes and everything all compatible with the Giant SCR 3.0 do you think?

Do you know much about putting cassettes on and do you have a cassette tool thingy that Dirk mentioned in the trainer thread?

What would you charge for the lot if I ordered a cassette to your gaf and you put the lot together in a ready to go bundle? :D You'd need a tube too I guess?

Should all work fine with a SCR 3.0. I can stick the cassette on for you no problem if you send it to me.

I'll include the tube and stick it all together for €55.

I'll stick the cassette on for free if you just want to buy the bits.

The tyre is the fun bit :)

Sent that on to you. You don't need anything else besides the cassette.

I'd be interested in your rear wheel if cormie doesn't want it. What do ya want for it? Ken

€60 for the pair (no cassette) and I'll throw in tyres and tubes.
I have a spare cassette but I'm not sure it'll fit but can throw that in as well.
Shimano BTW 9/10 speed but he cassette I have is 9.

What is the weight on the Cosmics? Like are they hideous? Also what ratio cassette and what's the wear like. I probably don't want any of this BTW but you never know...

They're not hideously heavy but are noticably heavier tha the kysriums ES's I switched for the winter.
The front wheel is less rigid as well, but the hubs are nice and smooth. Deeper section rims and radial front as well.

This is the new version (my ones are the 2004/5 version I think)

Damn, knew I should have subscribed to this thread, looking out for a cheap back wheel myself.
