You could get a JG fullsize G36 for around €160, stick an SL8 or SL9 body kit on it and you'd end up with a better AEG. Possibly cost less than the CA. Star and Ares do SL8s and 9s as far as I know too.

yeah id go for the Ares or Star, you'll get a quick change spring system with that and a stronger gun.,:)

Not paticularly... That price would be huge in comparison as the kit is 250 odd alone.
The CA36 line and the Sl8 are quite good guns, none of the sportline issues as that line never had any come out for it... At the end of the day, its a v3, in a very niely made rifle. I love the CA36 body material...mmmm nylon fiber.

I'm on my second CA8-2 now, love the things. Mine have been given awful abuse and still work flawlessly. Havent had a chance to look at the other brands but would definitly recommend the Classic Army version.

I'm pretty sure Matt in ATS has some, normally keeps them in stock!

    No,

Ironically you've never owned an SL8 have you?
I get my opinions on it from actually owning one.

    Define Ironic?

    Because Assumption is not Irony.

    Yes, I have, and a CA36C.
