Ball joint replace, how much ?

    I had my car in for a service last week and the garage advised me i need to get the l/h ball joint and l/h anti roll bar link replaced, along with new pads for the handbrake. It is a 2001 c180 (w203).

    Price they quoted, main ford dealer, was 550ish. Excessive or about right ? I know labor may take up a large chunk of it btw.

    about right I'd say.
    anti roll bar is awful expensive.

    price sounds good but I'd make sure they have the right tool for pressing in the new balljoint,the amount of them I see ruined by muppets who think they know what they're doing and you should get both left and right links done together,if ones gone the others not far behind
