Looking for villa in Lanzarote....

I am looking to rent a villa in Lanzarote for 2 weeks (June 28th-July 12th approx) Does anybody know of a nice villa that they have stayed in or own around the matagorda/los picillos (sp)/puerto del carman area? I have gone the usual route of booking with agents and travel companies but would like to rent straight from the owner this time round. This was the money stays in the irish economy if I rent from an irish owner! Any help would be great!

A lot if not most of the owners on here are Irish, you can check by looking at their contact number. I've used the site before to hire an apartment in Portugal and had noproblems.

This site is also a good site for villas. I have used it and thoroughly recommend it. There are a few Irish owners on it but main British & European owners.
I would rent the villa you want not because they are "Irish" . If you really want to support the Irish economy you'd be holidaying at home

I have used www.holidaylettings.co.uk to rent villas and homes in Florida with no problem. They also seem to have a lot of villas in Lanzarote!
