Hi, i booked flights there and put all the info in and right at the end after clicking purchase now the processing screen came up and then after 30 seconds it came up error (blah blah blah) no confirmation number of anything and said try again. I tried again and this time it worked and got the confirmation page up. Now the payment has come off twice so even though it came up ERROR the first time it still went through. How can I get this money back or do I have any chance of getting it back. This is cleary Ryanairs fault and the passenger names are the same for both bookings so they will see that it is a fault. Any ideas?

Hi sorry can't help but I just had the same problem.

Must be something wrong with the site

booked a ire to uk flight for wednesday, filled in the details
then entered my cred card number hit proceed and I got the very same error message.

The retired and it said a duplicate booking has been detected from this email.

But I have not yet received any email about the first booking?

Do I take it it's booked or call them or what????

You can call them and get a refund.

ok so it turns out the flights booked 3 times. Woke up yesterday to find 3 confirmation e mails. The first time I went back because of error message the flights I had previously booked went up in price so I went for different times, went through the whole process again and got error again telling me 2 go back and try again. Went back the 3rd time and booked the same flights as first time again as price went down and got the confirmation page up on screen so as far as I was concerned I had 1 booking. Ring up call centre explain situation and told I can only receive refund for one of the duplicate flights and she couldn't do anything about other 2 as they were for different times. I explained that the same 9 passengers would hardly want 2 flights in the one day especially when the flights out are at 0625 and 0730. Woman got quite rude at this point. Told me to send a fax to customer service in Dublin explaining my situation and that she could not do anything else. I know there is no number to ring (which is a joke) but does anyone know how likely I am to receive a response to a fax?I am a big Ryanair fan and have never had a single problem booking with them before but obviously on that night the website was busy and it couldn't handle the volume of transactions and so error messages were coming up so from my point of view the fault lies with them. Anyone ever have this problem or dealt with them through fax?

I dealt with them through fax for an infant check in fee. Took about 6 weeks for the money to return to the account and they never acknowledged they even had my fax despite me calling to check they got it.

would you still have the number you rang because I was told you can't ring them?

I only faxed them and faxed it to 01 8121676. I rang the usual customer service number to ask if they could tell me if they had it. They were useless and told me they could not transfer me to the person whose desk my fax would have landed on so I could ask them if they had it.
