Infinity Ward vs Treyarch

hey guys, after hearing that treyarch were going to be creating modern warfare 3, i was quite dissapointed. There has probably been a thread posted like this before, but i just wanted to ask ye which ye like better, infinity ward or treyarch. Maybe treyarch are good but i just was not big fan of waw at all!! And i also wanted to see which one is the most popular by setting up a poll.

WaW is an absolute sack of crap that I still regret buying to this day. I'll probably rent before buying if Modern Warfare 3 is made by Treyarch because, like the complete heap of feces that is WaW, it has the potential to be awful.

Infinity Ward every time. When WaW came out first it had so many glitches its was horrible to play some levels. I remember in Castle it was a race to see who could get under the map first.

Same here , played WAW up until Christmas when I bought MW2 .

I wasn't interested in WAW until I saw it cheap on Steam, not as good as MW but there were still some fun bits in WAW.

I would have said IW before MW2, but I feel they couldn't give a crap about fans now. They only care about making money. This is proven if you take a look at the PC version with no dedicated servers. I loved WaW, the only thing that might have tempted me back to MW is the more interesting weapons. I think MW3 will be a much better game than MW2

i used to think WaW was totally crap but a few weeks after mw2 came out i went back on it and i had one hell of a time:)
i really liked not getting spammed with stun grenades

Where did you hear this? Can't believe IW would let anyone else near their beloved franchise.

COD4 was one of the best games of all time but IW got it so wrong with MW2, over-rated over blown rubbish. Maybe give Treyarch a chance, they couldn't make it much worse than IW's massive egos.

I think IW could learn a lot from Treyarch regarding level design.
W@W has far better maps than MW2.

After MW2...
I think Infinity Ward are very overrated and Treyarch are very underrated.
WaW had some problems at the start with glitching but these were patched and it became a very solid game.

Apart from the incredibly annoying dogs and poor sound i find COD waw plays just like any other COD in the franchise, i just dont understand why people slate it so much.
Bolt action WW2 rifles = immense fun.

Yep. I was wishing all sorts of evil fates for the idiot programmers in IW who came up with this p2p crap. It is so screwed up that IW has killed the game for the PC. It needs dedicated servers because that's where the community comes from.

Played CoD2, CoD4, and MW2. Never played WaW - think I was playing some Battlefield at the time.

Agreed. Dedicated servers, or it'll fail, as people will continue buying Battlefield.

After this mess, I'm strongly considering Battlefield. Well either that or it's back to Day Of Defeat oldschool.
