Time for another house question folks. Whats deal with cavity sizes ? we were reccommended 150mm, but some have suggested increasing this and stuffing in more insulation to bring up the u value. Are there any maximum sizes for a cavity ? Are there any risks with increased cavity sizes ? Anything else to be aware of?

150mm is max when dealing with typical 100mm bock walls. Any greater cavity will require an approved design by engineer.
