    Hi,
I am looking for a good watch to show distance/time/speed on my run.
    I don't want to spend over 100euro.

    Any recommendations?

    Thanks.

Garmin Forerunner 50 is a foot-pod based watch that might meet your needs. Otherwise look for a second hand GPS based watch, like the Forerunner 205/305. Maybe someone else can recommend a Polar equivalent? I have a Polar F6, but it doesn't measure distance.

I know your question specifically referred to watches, but if you have an ipod nano, you can get a Nike ipod sport kit for approx e25-30 (designed to work with Nike runners but there's absolutely no need for these!). You attach a small sensor to your runners, this transmits to a small receiver which attaches to your ipod. It's not GPS-based, but I use it from time to time, and it is very accurate (and can be calibrated). You can view time elapsed, distance, pace on screen or via voice feedback.

I found Polar footpod only ok. It was fairly hammering though batteries (probably because I forgot to switch it off. You need to keep calibrating it.

Just invested in Garmin 305 on Amazon. They are about €160 which includes shipping.

    Hi,
I'm looking for something pretty cheap. This says it counts steps. Any idea if it tells how far in miles/km I run??

    Thanks.

It does mention that it records distance, so it should. Just don't expect it to be hugely accurate. If you already have an iPod touch/iPhone/Nano you could also try the Nike+, but feedback tends to be quite mixed.
