    Hi everyone

My fiance and I are looking to get married in Italy maybe 2011 or 2012. Has anybody got married in Italy, any advice/tips, nice locations/hotels etc. Open to every suggestion! We will have approx 15-20 guests and our max budget is €10,000. We would like a church wedding but don't know if that's possible as I'm Church of Ireland and fiance is Catholic!:( Thanks in advance!!

    Hi Equus, Congrats!!

Im getting married in Italy in April. We are going to St Margherita in Liguria. Its on the Italian Riviera and a stunning destination. In fairness I think anywhere in Italy is going to be fab.....think you should take some time out to do lots of research. There are a few threads on here about the topic and head over to weddingsonline (if you are brave enough!!!) 10k is plenty, especially for that amount of people. you can make it as grand or simple as you like :)

Best of luck and shout if you have any questions!

    Hi
We got married in Italy in Aug 08. We chose to go with Marco in Villa Baroncino. http://www.romanticitalianweddings.com/ He was excellent and your budget would allow you a great week over there :-)
    Best of luck

I went to a wedding near lake como last year and it was simply stunning. Apparently it cost no more than the typical wedding here. The setting was just fabulous. And there are so many cheap flights to all over Italy now with everyone's fav airline.:D
