Daily Mail Club Matchplay

I haven't heard as much about this in recent times. I remember it being a singles h'cap matchplay between clubs with a home/away draw, similar to the Barton Cup. Does it still go on or anyone have any details? There's too many news items and UK stuff clogging up the Google search for me.

They started a new competition last year to replace it, the All Ireland Fourball Trophy. I was just looking at the website and clubs need to register by 24th of January. Website if you are interested is www.mailgolf.ie

Was that the one that used to be Ireland+UK clubs for one prize? But UK teams were complaining about Irish handicaps being hooky after Irish clubs did well over a few years. So Daily Mail divided it into two different competitions.
