    Jesus, that looks bleak. Up in the Air for best screenplay? It was decent but it shouldn't've won any awards.

    Suppose Avatar was a shoe-in for best motion picture, haven't seen it yet so can't pass any judgements.

    Sandra Bullock for best actress, too.. sheesh.

    A lot of people were expecting The Hurt Locker to win that one. On the other hand, I've read some commentators on-line suggesting that the Globes really wanted to recognise Avatar in some fashion, but didn't have the option to do so in technical categories (arguably where it belongs).
