TV v. Sat Coax Cable

Mods, please move if I have written in the wrong area.

I got one of those magic eyes at the weekend and want to hook it up so I can watch my Sky Plus upstairs.

I have TV coax (I am not using) running upto the attic. In the bedroom I have Sat coax (that I am not using) running upto the attic.

Is it possible to connect the two (TV and Sat coax) to get the Magic Eye running?

Because I have put a floor in the attic, fishing another cable up to the attic could be only be done with a lot of difficulty.

    Regards,

    D

By TV Coax, I assume you mean that single screen stuff (usually brown)?

Anyway, should work, assuming the TV coax hasn't massive loss.

    Thanks Byte.

I'll try it during the week.
