    Just a thought...

seeing as the BBC have their iplayer on nintendo wii, is there any merit in get RTE player on the Wii too?

I know with all the Wii channels it would be a nice feature for those people who own one!

Given that its RTE they will not be making the logical step
    of following other broadcasters.
I have emailed them to see.
Is there anyway to access the BBC iplayer on the Wii here in Ireland?

You're more likely to see RTÉ player on UPC first, before it hits consoles.

BBC iPlayer is Geo-blocked, location determined by the IP address used to connect the Wii to the internet.
