looking to get some weighing scales to keep track of how i'm getting on with my training, we have one in the house already (a bog standard one from dunnes i think) but i can never get a proper reading! so i'm thinking that a digital one is the way to go but am looking to get a decent one. for anyone who has one did you get it in somewhere like argos??

Can't remember if I got mine in Argos or Boots, because I bought it years ago.

    It's a Tanita Model 2001.

It's supposed to read body fat % as well but I think the reading is based on a predetermined expectation (mass compared to height) rather than an empirical reading so that feature was a waste of money.

Other than that the scale is grand, does what you'd expect.

Unless it gives you a different reading every time you step on it then overall accuracy dosnt matter once it is going down over time.

Take photos and measurments for a better idea of how things are going.

thats the thing gaz when standing on it by slightly leaning forward it can vary by as much as a stone!

cheers for the recommendation jedi, will see what they have on their online catalogue. hopefully the digital one would have less deviations than a normal one
