Cancelling HD mix, 30 days notice?

    I rang Sky last week to cancel the HD mix. I am keeping the rest of the channels. They told me there is a 30 day notice period to cancel the HD mix. Is this true? Other people report that they cancel straight away.

    Which should it be?

    It's always been 30 days to downgrade ANY sub but instant if you want to upgrade :rolleyes:

    I have heard on these very forums that people have downgraded instantly but in my experience (and I have done a lot of up and downgrading over the years for both myself and family members) it has always been this way.

    I took ESPN off my package the other day and it was taken off instantly and I did'nt have to give any notice, technically ESPN is part of sky as you have to ring sky to subscribe/cancel or with any general enquiries.
    Perhaps the 30 day cancellation period only applies to actual Sky products
