Id say what will happen is that they will allow their champions to unify with others and when they do so they will create their "regular" belt.
These 3 orgs have probably realised that they are in danger of being no more important than the cbo, ibc etc.

The wbo have caught up with them and the ibo are not far behind. Add in the ring magazine claiming their champ is the real champ and some of the belt holders not even making it into the boxrec 15 (The guy Erdei beat for the wbc cruiserweight title)

Just did a quick google for some info on it.

    By Gabriel F. Cordero
A new super heavyweight division will be one of the items on the agenda when principal members of the IBF, WBA and WBC meet on Friday in Cancun, Mexico. Those in attendance are to include WBC President José Sulaimán, WBC Executive Secretary Mauricio Sulaimán, WBC legal advsor Gabriel Peñagarícano, IBF President Marian Muhammad, IBF advisor Larry Hazzard, WBA Executive Vice-President GIlberto Jesus Mendoza and WBA ratings director Oliver Gómez.

“My expectation would be to continue with the good and close inter-organtization relations for the benefit of boxing,” said Mendoza Jr. who also plans to address the main threats to world boxing, such as alternative sports, the economic crisis, and the lack of boxing figures as ambassadors of the sport.

The agenda of the meeting in Mexico includes:
    1. Unifications of titles
    2. Inter-organizational classifications of boxers
    3. Working with local and national boxing commissions
    4. Creation of the super heavyweight division
    5. Proposed McCain legislation in the USA

Interesting to see that performance enhancing drugs came up in discussion. Maybe the PBF v Paq fight has them thinking about a overhaul of the testing preocedures.

A new super heavyweight division would be good as it will take the real heavy guy out of the regular heavyweight division and could lead to more up tempo fights.

EDIT: Sorry meant to be WBA, WBC, and IBF. Could one of the mods change it? cheers

after you press edit the first time, there should be another option to edit (or go advanced or sth like that), this is when you can edit the title
