im looking for an alternative to a prometheus ms 90 spring because i cant find one in stock at the moment.

its to go in to a double eagle ump. and preferably one that ehobby stocks because iv a few other bits to order from them.

Element one's aren't too bad, you'll need to snip a few coils off though. I use the M95 in my guns and it's consistent enough.

About 3 was grand for me, it depends though, might need more, might not need to cut any.

Element 80 or 85s depending on the type of gearbox being used. a word of warning though, ive seen a couple of them fall apart after moderate use. the spring tends to break up into 3 bits and gathers at the spring guide.,

Systema 1J ones from Ehobby are pretty good though.,

When you see as many of them come across my desk.....

    :p

Nah ive seen it loads, with a number of brands too but at one time I had a load of those ones so I got to know them well. there ratings are all under estimated aswell, a 90 can often give you 360fps when its supposed to give 300.,

True about the ratings, had an M95 give 400fps with 0.25's...

No offence there lad but you shouldnt really be recommending that spring given its output & the title of the thread.
Hed be better off getting a Guarder M85 shooting 300 than an element one that needs tweaking.

I used elemtent ones before that needed snipping, so now id always get a prommy, but if youre going down that route ya may as well cut the stock one and save yourself the tenner.

It's not all of them, I've found that it was only one out of a few. I got another for a different AEG and it fires at 310fps, then put that spring in the AEG that fired 400fps and it fired at 308fps (I think).
