Each time I've been in Austria, i've played that game where you hammer a nail through wood. I've discovered that this is called hammerschlagen. Anyway I'm just back from snowboarding in Saalbach and had some boozy nights playing the game in pubs there and now I want to set the game up in my house. It should be an easy thing to be able to do since all you need is a bricklayers hammer, nails and wood. So anyone have a slice of a nice wide log they don't need or ideas on where I can get some myself?

Ahh memories of many a night playing that in the local.

Always amsues me how you can have a hammer and nails in a place where people are drinking beer and have no accidents!

Walk in Crua wood or up at 3 rock and you will find plenty of the required wood around. However offering Beer for Wood sounds like cheap prostitution if you ask me

great game, love the one where you go for other peoples nails:) also like when the locals try to hustle you and you end up betting them... I don't like though when the locals try to hustle you and you fall for it:(
