Did not get a chance to get out and play myself this weekend, just wondering how the courses are playing and what condition they are in after our spell of bad weather ?

First day our course was open this year and it looked fantastic. Deep lush shades of green against the azure sky. I'm slight of build but I was conscious of my foot steps leaving big impressions in the sodden greens. Fairways were worse during last summer!

monty course at carton was very wet underfoot but greens were fantastic, as always. Reckon it would have been closed under normal circumstances but clubs will likely turn a blind eye to a bit of surface water to get the money coming back in

Druids Heath was a bit wet on the fairway but tees and greens were fine even after Friday nights rain.

Donabate , very wet underfoot , but playable just about . Greens werent too bad considering the weather we've had . Was great to get out all the same after 6-7 weeks. Had 38pts off 21 and was in water on 4 holes so I was happy with that
