One that Leinster fans should have an interest in.

7-5 to the Scarlets at the moment. Great tempo to the game so far.

12-7 could be a try fest!

    Good game so far!

And Scarlets just let in a ridiculously piss easy try, boo!

7-12 to LI after 16 min

Priestley misses another kick, looks like Irish can give away penalties in their own half if they want

Worried Scarlets are going to conceded a BP victory to Irish...They are really struggling to contain IRish...

Priestland missing kicks will make it difficult, even if Scarlets go down the line, it will be hard to get good lineout ball against that London Irish lineout...

Yellow to Scarlets now. Not looking great...

Nope and the penalty slotted afterwards. 15-7 to LI now.

Scarlets miss another shot at goal..:mad::mad:

They really seem to be struggling to contain. Hopefully Irish switch off a little...

    still 15-7 by the way..

    Priestland is kicking terribly.

Lack of atmosphere is shocking. Ground in completely dead. How are the Welsh teams making money?

2 from 5 is not great alright. Although the Scarlets are only 5 points down at half time we can hope that they can up it a bit in the second half

15-10 now. Priestland finally slots a good 'un.

*edit: Half time 15-10 to LI.

Commentators are so boring. LI second row makes a huge run and the commentators are droning on about some crap.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,287 ✭✭✭crisco10

That was an AWFUL try. From the moment Priestland missed touch with penalty.

    22-10 to irish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 5,848 ✭✭✭bleg

Game over, you'd expect LI to go on and get the BP now.

It doesnt particularly matter if Irish get a bp though from Leinster's pov though does it? Like next week is winner takes all anyway.

That try makes it interesting now again

  • Score Update?

Was thinking that. Unless its a draw next week...

Try Scarlets, great gas from their 6 there!

And suddenly Priestland gets a goal kick!

    22-17 to Irish

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 6,287 ✭✭✭crisco10

Looks like anther try there for Scarlets...TMO...

    And given!

    PRiestland with Touchline kick!

    24-22 to Scarlets!

And even if scarlets win, it wont impact Leinster that much because they would probably get at least one bp next week and finish as second qualifier, meaning an away qf anyway. A win next week is vital.

    Come on Priestland...

edit: Yessss. Wixfjord Leinster aren't guarenteed a runner up spot yet though. If Northampton win their next two games Munster will take it.

    Good stuff from scarlets. 24-22

Wel,unless im missing something, if LI lose with a BP this week. they will be on 16. Leinster on 20. So Leinster can lose with a Bp next week and still top the group. Not that you would start playing for a losing BP!

  • Whats left on the clock?

Do Scarletts have anything to play for in winning this game btw?

Yeah but it would still be an away qf if they lost next week, so doesnt change much.

If LI show this kind of composure next week Leinster have nothing to fear.

except as a best 2nd you will be playing one of the two top seeds away...granted sometimes that doesn't make a difference though.

Well Munster will be top seed assuming they win next week. If Leinster win next week we could be top seed too.

    shocking from Malone there

Of course, if Leinster win next week, nothing else in their group matters.

Jesus i thought Biarritz were well ahead but theyve only 18. Two Irish top seeds if both win. How is it decided whos top seed if both have the same points does anyone know?

24-22. 2 mins left. Scarlets have srum on halfway

Am I being greedy hoping for a Scarlets try from this scrum?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,198 ✭✭✭✭Crash

If Scarlets win this, giving LI a losing bonus, does that not put us in the position where any win, or a loss with a bonus point, and no 4 try bonus for LI next week, would put us top?

  • Subscribers Posts: 16,614 ✭✭✭✭copacetic

Jeez, this is worse than waiting for the bonus point last night.

Scarlets setting up or drop goal. GO GOOOGOOGOGOOGOOGOGO!! Try! 29-22 and kick to come

    from erc:

(iii) if the teams have not played each other previously in the Pool
stage, qualification / ranking will be based on:
    (a) the number of tries scored in all Pool matches.
    (b) aggregate points difference from all Pool matches.
    (c) the Club with the fewest number of players sent off and / or suspended in all Pool
    matches.
    (d) toss of a coin.

TRY SCARLETS!!! Irish losing the BP at the death!!!

So LI need to get a bonus point against us next week to top the group...

    YEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH

    Leinster basically through!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 13,591 ✭✭✭✭Aidric

That's that then. LI have faded badly.

Not even a bonus point - are LI as good as out?!

    Scarlets try. Leinster through!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 11,198 ✭✭✭✭Crash

31-22 - waiting on the conversion. soft defensive by LI. denies LI the bonus point, so would I be right in saying a bonus point next week guarantees us top of the group?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,174 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

    Delighted for the Scarlets....deserved that!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,698 ✭✭✭Risteard

Not even a BP for LI if this goes over. Irrelevent anyway IMO, Leinster should beat this them next week.
