Sky half installed my Sky+ recently during the week. Have to come back to finish off install.

My Sky+ box has only 1 cable going into it. Need 2 cables for Sky+ recording.

So at the moment with 1 cable I get the same error message as you if I try to record and change channels. Have to unplug box for 1 minute to get signal back - then I can watch but not record.

Maybe check both incoming cables are connected? Only a guess.

As Paul right said, your problem lies with Signal no2, This is essential to allow you to record and watch a second channel at the same time. Check the cable going into the box as it may have come loose etc or try switching 1 and 2 this also sometimes fixes the problem.

You may have to reset the box for input 2 to show up.

    Setup box for one feed

    Press "Services" button
    Select Settings
    Press "Select" button
    Press "zero" button
    Press "zero" button
    Press "one" button
    Press "Select" button twice.
Change SINGLE FEED MODE to "on".
Press Green button to save settings.
