That vid's been doing the rounds for a while now, the crazy ba$tards are infact SEAL's and that's a Sea Kinght CH-46 as far as I know.

Is is Sea Knight or Chinook? It should be easy to confirm. Anyone got pictures of the ramps?

I've never been close to a Chinook but I would think thry are a bit wider than shown in that video. So my vote goes for the smaller Sea Knight.

Does that mean its a USMC team,or would the SEALS also use the Sea Knight? Suppose it depends on how old the original video is.

Whatever chopper is is and whoever does it, its pretty James Bond badass!

Here's one definitely Chinook, but poor. On the face of it, it does seem wider and hard to tell the nationality.

that second Chinook one looks like the SBS,
crewman has an orange drysuit on
which suggests RAF to me not USN

that can't be doing the choppers lifespan any good!

I suspect that both were shot on a lake or a river. The first video has brownish water as you would find in a Scottish lake sorry lough. Landing in sea water would not be very kind to aircraft structures even when designed for it.
