Basically I find the TV terrible but the internet excellent, especially with the new 30mb service. I know the internet comes through the cable so dunno if that causes an issue.

    Thanks.

where are you based as a matter of interest?am thinking of getting their 30mb package here in Sallins

best bet is to give them a ring, they'll know, they charge a tenner for closing a tv point but i would say there is a good chance you could cancel tv

    In the Malahide area.

Found it on their website after a bit of searching, there's an €8 surcharge p/m for broadband alone.

Thats correct. You can just keep the broadband but you will have to pay the surcharge.
