shower problem

This morning the shower was making a strange noise as it ran. Water still flowed but with a much decreased pressure. The other taps are fine.
    We are in Dublin 6w.

Could this be something to do with the water supply in dublin or a shower pump problem? Does the shower have a tendancy to be affected before taps?

Incoming water (pressure) has been reduced, mainly at night though, to conserve supplies, so maybe the shower was not getting sufficient pressure to work normally and hence, moaned and groaned:D

My shower makes funny noises from time to time, thought it was going to die on me and that was....................2yr ago. Purring well now. :)
